Covenhoven House, 1753

Learn about the history of this property, granted to an original proprietor of NJ by King Charles II of England; the architecture of the house, and the Dutch family who lived here. Discover what the lives of the enslaved who lived and worked here entailed, and the role this property played in the longest battle of the American Revolution - the Battle of Monmouth!
