Robin Kampf of RJK Media is an award-winning producer, director, editor and filmmaker. Her second documentary film, Love Wins, aired on PBS nationwide and was chosen for the PBS Women in Film Festival in 2019. Love Wins also won Best Documentary Short at many state and international film festivals, was a finalist in the International Black Maria Film Festival, and was screened as an official selection at the Vail Film Festival. In this interview, Robin describes the hardships of being closeted and then coming out in the 80s, as well as the Asbury Park bar scene before its revitalization and the effect it had on the gay population.

Robin currently resides with her wife, Luanne Peterpaul, who is a statewide LGBT advocate, the municipal Judge and attorney in Long Branch. They have been together for 37 years. The couple continues the fight for equality together through awareness, community groups and legislation.
